"Overlooking Montargil Dam, Monte Novo Villas offers rooms and villas with a sophisticated décor and the opportunity to enjoy water sports activities. Villas are a 5-minute drive from Montargil village.

Each unit at Monte Novo is air conditioned and includes flat-screen satellite TV. Villas also have a fully equipped kitchen and private pool; both rooms and villas have Continental Breakfast included, served in our restaurant for our rooms guests and served in the privacy of the villas for our villas guests.

Guests of the villas can use the kitchen facilities to prepare meals or request Delivery service from our Restaurant at "Casa Redonda". Alternatively, guests can find restaurants serving traditional cuisine within a short drive, in Montargil or Mora, located 17 km away.

For water-related activities, the dam offers canoeing, fishing and water-skiing opportunities. Activities available on land include horse riding, hiking and mountain bike. Mora has a Fluviarium with several river fish species.

Both Portalegre and Santarém cities are around 80 km from Monte Novo Villas. On your way to Évora city, a UNESCO World Heritage site located 72 km away, do not forget to visit the hilltop Évoramonte Castle, 59 km away."

The hotel day starts from hour 16:00 and ends at 12:00.

Guests booking Non-Refundable Rates should inform Montargil Monte Novo of their invoicing details (Name, Address and VAT number) at the time of booking.
Please note that it is allowed a maximum of 2 pets up to 15 kg, per reservation, per villa.
Pets are only allowed in the Villas, not in the rooms.

Payments in cash:
• According to the Portuguese law, cash transactions are limited to a maximum of €3000 or its equivalent in foreign currency. When payment is done by individuals not residents in Portugal and not acting as entrepreneurs or merchants, the limit is €10 000.
• For IRC taxpayers, as well as IRS taxpayers who have or must have organized accounting, payments of an amount equal to or greater than €1000, or its equivalent in foreign currency, must be made through a means of payment that allow the identification of the respective recipient.
• Cash payment of taxes exceeding €500 is not allowed.

During the check-in, the Montargil Monte Novo reserves the right to request a security deposit to guarantee the payment of any damage andor loss of any equipment part of the villa inventory.
The villa inventory, with the cost of each equipment, will be provided to the guest.
At the time of the check-in, a security deposit will be requested. This security deposit can be paid in cash or by credit card.
The amounts vary according to the type of accommodation:
2 (two) bedroom villa: 300,00€ (three hundred euros);
3 (three) bedroom villa: 400,00€ (four hundred euros):
The amount of the deposit will be returned at the time of the check-out, after verifying that there are no damages.
