Cerdeira - Home for Creativity - Lousã

Cerdeira - Home for Creativity houses an arts and crafts school, is hidden in Serra da Lousã and offers traditional units built in schist surrounded by an undulating landscape. These houses have been restored with ecological and regional materials.houses have central heating and provide great comfort in winter and summer.
The property is 10 km from Lousã.

All 2-storey houses at Cerdeira - Home for Creativity are self-sufficient and combine typical architecture with modern interiors. The houses include electric heating, a wood stove and a basket of firewood upon arrival. Shared accommodation in a dormitory is also available.

Guests can watch the deer as they roam the village at night. This house is ideal for enjoying nature in the comfort of a rustic village.

Breakfast is prepared daily by Café da Videira and can be enjoyed on the terrace or in the covered area next to the café overlooking the valley.

If you want to taste regional cuisine, it is possible to pre-order meals, which will be delivered in the comfort of the house. A selection of regional products is available at an extra cost. Dinner is available upon request. You will enjoy Wi-Fi access inareas and rooms.

Outdoor activities such as river descents, guided hikes, jeep tours and creative experiences can be arranged.
Cerdeira - Home for Creativity is located about 40 km from the university city of Coimbra.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

Please note that check-in takes place from 15:00 to 21:00. After 21:00 it will be charged a tax of EUR 10 per each extra hour.

Bed linen, towels, shampoo, soap, salt, pepper, spices, olive oil, vinegar, sugar and one basket of firewood is provided.

One-bedroom House - Wood Oven. With a privileged view, Casa do Forno is a small charming two-floor schist house decorated in cheerful tones. Entrance to the house is through the ground floorthere is a bathroom, kitchen, and dining area with an inviting traditional wood burner. The internal staircase accesses the upper floor which has two twin beds. This room hosts a traditional oven, hence the houses name. This floor also gives access to an outdoor patio, ideal for reading or for taking small meals. ;
One-bedroom House - Staircase. House Staircase is located at one of the villages highest points and is a welcoming two-floor house with a beautiful view of the village. The ideal house for families or travelers looking for a space in harmony with nature. On the ground floor are the kitchen, a dining area, and a living area with a comfortable sofa bed and a traditional wood burner. The bathroom is on the first floor, which also features a double and a single bed, perfect for families. The terrace in front of the house is ideal for reading or enjoying meals at the end of the day. The height of the ground floor is 1.90m. ;
One-bedroom House - Window. Casa da Janela has the most indiscreet window in the village. During the day, you can watch your neighbors head to the fountain, and at night, you can spy on the deer as they roam through the village.
