Golden Residence Hotel - Funchal

Featuring panoramic views of Praia Formosa, the largest pebble beach in Madeira, the Golden Residence Hotel offers an outdoor pool, a wellness centre, and modern accommodation with private balconies.

All rooms and apartments of the Golden Residence are equipped with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a kettle. Some rooms have side views of the North Atlantic Ocean. Apartments feature a living area with a kitchenette.

Golden Flavours Restaurant serves regional and international cuisine made with fresh produce from the hotel’s vegetable garden. The Golden View Bar serves a variety of drinks and refreshments, including cocktails.

The GoldenSpa offers various health and beauty treatments, including hot stone massages. It also features a heated indoor pool, a gym, and a meditation room.

Funchals city centre is only 3.5 km away. The promenade, located next to the hotel, features views of one of the highest sea cliffs in Europe, the Cabo Girão.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 12:00.

One child from 3 to 12 years old can stay for free in the existing sofa bed. This is only available in Suites and Apartments.

Please note that the safety deposit box has a cost of EUR 1.7 per day.

The name on the credit card used for the booking should correspond to the guest staying at the property. For reservations made with a third party credit card, any previous charges will be reimbursed and the full payment will be requested upon check-in.

Dogs and Cats under 5kg are allowed, the guest must pay a 100 EUR security deposit plus 25 EUR per day to bring the pet.

Please note that the hotel only accept dogs and cats in Apartments or Premium Apartments room types.
